This page covers this website and the Albean updates list. It doesn’t yet cover the Albean app, which will have its own policy here before public release.
What we collect
- Your email address and the date you signed up, if you use the sign-up form.
This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and its fonts are served from this site. Our hosting and email providers may keep standard technical records, such as IP addresses, to run their services and protect them from abuse.
How we use your email
Only to send you news about Albean, such as when it’s ready to try. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Our email provider may tell us whether an update was delivered, opened or clicked.
Who handles it
The sign-up form sends your address directly to Loops, the email service that stores our list and delivers our updates. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. These companies may process data in the United States.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need the list, whichever comes first.
Your choices
Every update includes a link to leave the list. You can also email support@albeansocial.com at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We’ll answer as soon as we can, and within 30 days.
Children
The updates list isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their addresses. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we’ll remove the address.
Changes
If this page changes, we’ll update the date at the top.
